News Briefs: Secretary of state office set to open
Livingston County’s new, consolidated secretary of state branch office in Genoa Township will open at 9 a.m. Jan. 14, the Department of State reported Monday.

Salmon stocked for ice fishermen
Ice fishing season has begun at many of our lakes and ponds. The big bonus is many of these have been stocked with Atlantic Salmon from 4 to 18 pounds. These are brood stock salmon that have out served there purpose at the Vermont Fisheries Hatchery and have been liberated into Bay State waters across this state.
